Coast Spas

Coast Spas are one of the world’s leading hot tub suppliers, if you’ve spent any amount of time researching designing you’re very own home spa then you’re to have came across Coast Spas.

In our latest venture, Bathroom City is working alongside Coast Spas to supply a premium hot tub experience in our brand new centre based in Tyseley, Birmingham.

Based in the UK and with huge range of hot tubs on offer, Coast Spas provide a substantial amount of reasons to make them the number one choice.

Famed for sheer quality in production, Coast Spas offer an unrivalled cabinet and shell, a sleek combination of well researched and refined materials with heap of style and chic.

The shell is one of the strongest on the market (great for using your tub for parties) and combines quality Acrylic and layers of Owen’s cornering with fibreglass angle iron added to particular areas for additional support.

The cabinet is designed and handcrafted around the shell and is finished in way that oozes the same class and quality of luxury furniture, promising a look which is not only of the best quality but unique and eye catching in range of finishes including AAA grade clear Canadian Cedar, synthetic wood and slate.

Moreover, the key aspect of a hot tub is the way it makes you feel and the pump, controls and filtration play key roles in making your hot tub experience the best it can be, with a choice of different hydro-massage options.

Coast Spas offer a range of pumps with a variety of pressures and ultimately a variety of vigorous or soothing massages, not to mention energy saving filtration cycles which can save you money, a key concept when considering a hot tub purchase.

In order to make your hot tub experience as easy to use and enjoyable as possible, the controls play a pivotal role in relieving stress. Nobody wants to be fiddling around with over-complicated levers and buttons to get the bubbles to hit the right spot, you just want to be in heaven by the flick of a switch, and that’s exactly what a Coast Spa hot tub can achieve.

Understanding that a hot tub is a lifestyle choice as well as a functional addition to your home or garden, Coast Spas offer a range of entertainment options to make your hot tub the ultimate experience, including TVs, iPod and MP3 compatibilities and surround sound speakers.

With Bathroom City’s latest venture ready to launch next month and with Coast Spas on board as our supplier, we’ve got a lot to get excited about; especially being the only retailer in Birmingham to have working hot tubs on display!

The Hot Tub Diet

The media is often the harbinger of 101 fad diets, miracle workouts and ‘get a six pack by eating pizza’ related ideas, and more often then not they can be worked into the average lifestyle with some effect.

With all the work going on in our showroom developing the latest extension to Bathroom City, our hot tub department we’ve been looking into some of the not so obvious benefits of owning a hot tub and stumbled upon this unusual approach to dieting.

The hot tub diet allows enthusiastic dieters to ditch the treadmill and small meals for relaxing and personal thinking time, a much easier option that apparently is even more effective, according to the author of the Hot Tub Diet book, Bridget Praytor.

Check out the article from The Mail Online if sitting engulfed in warm massaging bubbles sounds like your kind of exercise.

Stay up to date with our blog, Facebook and Twitter (@bathroomcity) to find out more about the developments of Bathroom City’s latest hot tub venture.

Anne's Retirment

Since 1986 Bathroom City has gone from strength to strength, continually expanding even during the country’s economical climate.

Even when other companies have been forced to downsize their workforce, Bathroom City has always and is currently looking to grow the team further.

Unfortunately, even when striving to provide jobs for the local community and remain at the forefront of the bathroom market, Bathroom City is having to wave goodbye to one of its longest serving employees.

Anne McGuire has worked at Bathroom City’s Amington Road showroom as a sales advisor for the last 24 years, and throughout her time has made a wealth of friends and gained many stories to tell.

One of the most outrageous being the time she floated along a ford to work! Anne is renowned for being punctual but one morning she was made late for work because her taxi drove into a ford.

Despite the vehicle being waterlogged, Anne still followed correct procedure and made a phone call to fellow Bathroom City employee Paul telling him she’d be late.

After being rescued from the ford, Anne made it into work, stuck her soaking tights on the radiator and carried on with her day.

Anne and her Bathroom City family
“Anne came in carrying my sandwiches, even though they were soaking! She just got on with her day as normal…never clocked in though!”

Bathroom City gave Anne the send off she deserved on Sunday, having a get together at a local social club.

Anne was overwhelmed with the party and it was great for Bathroom City staff to get together outside of work for a drink or two and see Anne off in style.

Our beloved Anne is now retiring to spend more time with her husband and start work in her home and garden.

Good luck Anne and thank you for the memories!

Hot Tubs

If you’ve visited our Seeleys Road showroom recently, you may have noticed the sounds of drilling, hammers thumping and the sloshing of paint coming from the back of our showroom, and you’d be right in thinking we’ve got something up our sleeve.

We’ve got something very large up our sleeve in actual fact (no innuendos please); we’re starting a new venture selling luxury hot tubs from our Seeleys road showrooms.

Without giving too much away the latest addition to our showroom will be a haven for premium wellness products, with our first three hot tub designs currently in production in Canada by Coast Spas.

It’s becoming more apparent that the ‘home spa’ is an essential part of the modern home, providing a luxury escape, whether it’s a hot tub, sauna or even a whirlpool bath.

Recently, hot tubs have become more prominent in the mainstream media, with newspapers such as the Sunday Times and programmes like The One Show both producing features on hot tubs.

With summer approaching and the sun finally breaking through the usually very grey British skies, what better time to start thinking about creating a tropical paradise in your own home.

As we enter a new chapter in the Bathroom City story, we’ll be keeping you up to date via our blog, Facebook, Twitter and Pintrest pages so stay tuned as we’re looking to begin trading in June!

For the time being, if you’d like to check out our current range of whirlpools then please visit our website
